  • Easter message from the Headteacher

Easter Message for the school community at George Carey Primary School from the Headteacher

    Dear school community,

As we enter into the Easter period I would like to remind everyone of the true message of this celebration. Easter is linked to new life and new beginnings, often in the form of eggs, lambs and the countryside springing to life again following the winter. This link is in recognition of Jesus’ death and resurrection. This is a special time for Christians. I wish you all a very happy Easter break. Enjoy your family time together and the gift that this brings.

John 11:25-26 ‘I am the resurrection and the life’, says the Lord. ‘Those who believe in me will never die.’

  • Children in Need

    Tue 11 Nov 2025

    Dear Parents and Carers,

We are delighted to inform you that this Friday (14/11/11) we will be supporting Children in Need. To mark the occasion, pupils are invited to attend school in non-uniform, and we encourage them to wear yellow or Pudsey-themed colours to help celebrate this special day.

This event provides a wonderful opportunity for our school community to come together and support an important national charity that helps children and young people across the UK.
