Come on into Year 3
Maths - In maths we have been learning about place value. We have used the dienes to represent 3 digit numbers. DT - In DT we used cocktail sticks and sweets to build a frame for a greenhouse. We strengthened our structures by using diagonal struts.

In Science the children were able to locate the muscles on the body and identify the movements they bring about. The children discussed how muscles work in their pairs. We recapped the names of the muscles but they are quite tricky to remember.
