Minibeasts

This term, our young explorers will embark on an exciting journey into the world of minibeasts! Through sensory storytelling, hands-on activities, and creative projects, children will discover fascinating creatures such as butterflies, spiders, ants, and bees. They'll engage in interactive storytelling, vocabulary building, science investigations, and maths challenges, all while developing their literacy and communication skills.

Our learning will be enriched with themed art projects, music, and cooking activities, as well as clips from A Bug’s Life to spark curiosity. In science, we’ll explore insect habitats, lifecycles, and the importance of pollinators. Outdoor experiences, such as a minibeast hunt and tree shaking experiment, will bring our learning to life.

Through play, exploration, and discovery, children will develop a deeper understanding of the natural world while strengthening their social, emotional, and cognitive skills. Get ready for an exciting term full of bugs, learning, and fun!
