Welcome to our Governors’ section. 

Please find below details of how our Governing body is structured, including the names, categories, responsibilities and terms of appointment for each Governor.

The role of the Governing Body is to evaluate provision at the school and review the impact that school actions have on outcomes for children. They also ensure that the school is compliant with statutory requirements set out by the Department for Education and that appropriate financial standards are met. Ofsted makes a judgement about the effectiveness of a governing body and this contributes to the overall grade for leadership and management within an Ofsted inspection.

Governors are required to have a full understanding of how the school provision is met as well as holding the Senior Leadership to account. This is achieved by holding monthly Full Governing Body meetings, visits to the school and governors holding specific roles.
