Our topic for this term is Ready, Steady, Grow! Below are nine suggested activities for you to complete at home over the next five weeks linked to our topic.
We would like you to complete at least 3 activities from below by the end of term. We would love to see as much of your learning as possible – you can send us photos and videos over dojo or bring into school any work you complete!
Make a healthy fruit salad | Learn to sing farm themed songs such as Old McDonald Had a Farm, The Farmer Gathers His Hay Today and Dingle Dangle Scarecrow. | Draw and label the life cycle of a butterfly |
Draw your own farm including three animals you would find there. | Try three new fruits and vegetables that you have never tried before. | Plant a seed and take photos as it grows. Discuss the changes you can see with your grown up. |
Keep a fruit and vegetable diary for a week | Make a list of healthy and unhealthy foods | Use fruit to make a repeating pattern. |
