In this science unit, Pupils will learn about the simple functions of the basic parts of the human digestive system (mouth, oesophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine). 'The Digestive System' covers the year 4 science curriculum objective. They will also explore how the digestive system is a pretty important part of the body. Without it, you couldn't get the nutrients you need to grow properly and stay healthy.
